For Havillands Stables
Jenny Stigley and Havillands Coral Court, Mounted archery

Archery was something that Jenny hadn't tried before. So under Khi Black's instruction she practised a lot and decided to have a go.
Jenny became quite proficient on the ground but once up on a horse there were a whole series of unexpected factors that you just couldn't compensate for. Khi had let Jenny practise with her own horse Sparky, who was trained for this sort of activity , but when it came to getting Jenny's mare Coral used to the archery drill it took a very strong hand to hold her.
Coral seemed to see the archery targets as giant eyes which made her spook! How many of Jenny's arrows will actually hit the target remains to be seen...and more to the point, will Jenny manage to stay in the saddle?

That must be really difficult, riding a horse is tricky enough, archery is also something that needs a lot of concentration, both together must be really impossible.

Archery on horse back i can only imagine how difficult that is! I love Coral's expression and the way the rabbit is getting out of dodge
